1. Topic
· Amir and Hassan was both nurse by the same woman.
· Amir betrayal Hassan when Assef and his friend attack Hassan in the alley.
· The hidden guilt is that Baba knows that Hassan is his son. The open guilt is that Baba praise Hassan more than Amir because of the secret Baba keep from the boys.
· When Amir deviate from the story, but later he gives Hassan an old shirt or broken toys.
· The journey is when they leave Pakistan and went to America.
· Amir and Baba really don’t have a father son relationship the only time, Amir Feel they do is when they are flying kites.
· When they were in Pakistan they were rich, but when they came to America they was poor.

· Amir said he wasn’t like his father; however, he was because he told lies just like Baba.
· Amir and Hassan could stand side by side comparison and contrast.
· Rahim Khan knew that Baba was Hassan father.

· The Pomegranate Tree- Hassan and Amir would sit under the tree and read.
· Coming to America- Amir came to America to bury his memory. Baba came to mourn his memory.
· The alley- Is where Hassan was rape.
· Jalalabad- Is where Amir and his father went after Hassan was raped.
· Kabul- Is the place Amir and Baba leaves in the middle of the night to the relative safety of Pakistan.

Small Town vs. Big City

someone once said, “The nice part about living in a small town is when you do not know what you're doing, and someone else does.” While most people prefer to stay in a big city, others like myself would like to reside in a small town because it’s safer, quieter, and inexpensive.
Staying in a small town allows me to feel safe in my own home. Living in a small town, I don’t have to wait in long traffic lines. There are less cars and buses to cause pollution. Classes are smaller and that gives the students a lot of one on one time with the teacher. In a small town I do not have to worry about many crimes being committed because there are not many people in town. In the big city, I would have to wake up extra early to make sure that I’m on time for work or school because of the long lines of traffic. I would feel like I never had any one on one time with teachers because of the large classrooms. There are lots of crimes being committed because of the large population of people in big cities.
In addition to staying in a small town, I am able to enjoy the sweet sounds of birds due to the quietness in the neighbor. Having a big yard allows me to plant and have the following: vegetables, flowers, and even own my own personal pond. The community has large events the entire town can attend of every age, race, or gender. The communities celebrate in a respectful hour and manner. In a big city there is only enough land or yard room to plant about three flowers or none at all. I feel that my neighbors will always see everything that I’m doing (nosey). Also, big cities have a party every day of the week that contributes a lot of noise which disturbs others.
Staying in a small town will help me save money and still get to enjoy my hobbies. If I stayed in a big city, I would never be able to go out on a regular basis because of mortgage and bills. In a small town I could afford two houses and still get to go out on a regular basis. Groceries would be a lot more expensive and I would hardly ever see a vegetable or fruit stand. I also would be able to buy my produce from a vegetable and fruit stand at a cheaper price.
Staying in a small town is where I want to live; everybody knows and looks out for each others. I would definitely feel safe; I would listen to sweet sounds; and would save every dime I could. A small town is where I would reside.

My feeling for him

OK WHERE SHOULD I START.........WELL WE HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR YEARS,BUT HAVE NOT TALKED TO EACH OTHER ON THAT LEVEL SINCE "05" NOW THAT WE HAVE START BACK AT IT AGAIN I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO TAKE HIM.... HE SEEMS TO BE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT AT LEAST TO MY KNOWLEDGE....BUT THERE'S PEOPLE IN MY EAR TELLING ME THINGS ABOUT HIM AND HIS SO CALLED LADY "FRIENDS" I KNOW THAT PEOPLE HATE TO SEE OTHERS HAPPY, BUT HI I REALLY DON'T THINK THESE PEOPLE WOULD LIE TO ME ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS. KNOWING THAT HE MIGHT BE OUT DOING HIS THING WITH HIS LADY FRIENDS REALLY HURTS ME. EVEN THOUGH WE ARE JUST FRIEND HE JUST COME ON TO ME SO STRONG ABOUT US HAVING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP YES I'M GLAD TO HAVE SOMEBODY IN LIFE THAT REALLY WANT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP BUT AT THE SAME I'M HAVING TRUST ISSUES BECAUSE I'M DOWN HERE IN SCHOOL AND HE IS UP THERE. EVERYONE KNOWS THAT A RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT WORKOUT IS THERE IS NO TRUST!! I GUESS TIME WILL TELL IF HE IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME!

My feeling about Essay 2 was Great

The example essay was not difficult at all (until I get my grade I may feel different lol). The hardest part about the essay was making sure I had enough example so my audience could follow my paper. The easiest part about the writing the essay was the topic I choose because it related to me. The advice I would give the next 1101 student is after you have write your essay post it on your blog, so that you can get comment from classmates because it really do help out because the comment you get will improve your if you take advantage of it.

Friend

I have one great friend I have known her for many years and I can tell her anything she is alway there for me through anything. She sometime put me before her problem but that is what a friend is for because I would do the same exact thing for her because I feel that we have been through so much together.

Why

Today I went to media takeout like I do everyday, but this time it was different. When browsing through the list of things to look one caught my eye a killing of little boy. Well he was in high school, but still its doesn't make it any better I'm was so mad because as I was looking at the video I realize that the child was laying on the ground for about five to ten minute before anyone decided to see if he was ok Im not saying that its their fault but just maybe they could have save the life but instead we are videotaping the whole fight this is so distrubing.

JUDGMENTAL

Judgmental
Someone once said “That people should not judge a book by its cover!” Many times I have looked at people or things and judged them before actually taking time out to sit down and analyzing them. I know that I should not do that, but it always seems to happen. Even though, I judge my car and my friends they turn out to be more than I expected!
When I first got my car my dad came home one afternoon, he said “Kiara I have a surprise for you outside”; I was so excited because I had wanted a car. When I walked outside there was a 1995 Pontiac Gran Am, as I was walked toward the car I realize that it was my sister old car. Then I begin to think that it was a prank because this just couldn’t be true. I accepted the keys to the car, thinking that this was still a joke, but time past and I finally realize that this was real. I hated the fact that I was going to have to drive my sister old car to college. As time start to past I begin to cherish my car. I started thinking that maybe this car was meant for me because it was purple outside and dashboard lit up orange. This car resemble me because I’m old spirited and purple and orange were my favorite colors. I cherish my car even more now because it takes me from point A to point B.
The day I met my best friend I didn’t like her because I felt that she thought she was the center of the world. I would not speak to her if I seen her around or whenever she looked my way in class. Finally I decided to fight my ego and speak to the girl. When I begin talking to her, I felt that she didn’t talk to many people, so we begin talking to each other only a daily basis. She had so much in common with me and as time went on we grew closer and built a close relationship.
Another person that I have come to admire is my significant other. When I first met him he didn’t seem like my type. He was outgoing and loud. I asked him one day why he was so loud he reply that he was trying to get my attention. From that day forward we started talking to each other. It started off slow because he was slightly different from me. He seem to do everything perfect at least to me. When we officially started to date he put away some of his old hobbies so our relationship could begin on a new foundation. Know that we are still together I’m glad I didn’t choose to ignore him.
I have learned when I’m quick to judge people and things that I might just have miss out on something good. So now I just speak to everyone and don’t complain about the little things because they were put in my life for a reason. We live and learned from all of our mistakes.

Today i'm kind of not feeling my best, I really just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. My day start off really emotional don't really know why but hey I guess thatt life! Im trying my best to stay true to myself by asking myself the same every day "Is college really for?" I guess when you are having mixed emotion it is best not to decide on a situtuion and just dont think about it because the more i think the more i seem to have more and more questions on a daily basis. Right i just need guidance

Semester fall 2008

Many people who first go to college experience different feelings. Some students are excited others are nervous. Many have a lot of thoughts going through their head about their first day of college. I was excited about getting roommates, going to classes, and exploring the campus.
When moving into Macon Place Apartment I was excited because it would be my first time being away from home and having my own place. When my parents and I pulled up to the seven green and yellow-orange three story buildings I was saying to myself I hope that I won’t have to climb those stairs. When I arose to the office there were two young gentlemen ready to assist me in everything about moving into the apartment. I finally got to the apartment it was quiet and peaceful. I was one of the lucky one to because I was located on the first floor of the 100 building. When I meet my roommate they all had very unique personality. My roommate was very different than I, but we were all there to receive a higher education.
However, the next two days after moving into the apartment came the “First Official Day of College. When I pulled up to the college parking lot I remembered seeing a lot of different kinds of cars and peoples. Driving around the parking lot looking for an empty spot only thought was going through my head was, are my professor going to be very hard and demanding like the ones of television. My first professor was upbeat and intelligent, the next one was tall and lanky he was super boring. The last professor was older, but she was enthusiastic. Even though all my professor different, they were all there for one thing to give students a higher education.
While there at the college, I decided to explore the campus. I remembered been surrounded by tall red brick buildings. Some building was much older than others. They had a lake located in the back of the PSC and SLC buildings. The campus was a nice size. The campus had wide sidewalk and very nice black bench to sit on top of them. This was very new to me because I was always enclosed in one building.
My overall first day of college was great. Getting to know my roommate and their personality, being able to connect with my professors, and locating buildings around the campus made me feel that I was really making a changes in my life.

Thinking

Sometime I wonder if I would have choose a different path how would my life have been. Right now I feel that im living the good life I have no kids, don't have to work,my college is paid for. I have my own car and apartment. Than when I go home and see all my friends that I graduate with from high school they have no job with kids. I sometime see myself thinking only if I would have stayed. Dont get me wrong I love to see all my family and friends when I do go home, but I feel that they are trap in a small town that don't have anything there, but a conveint store.I know that they still have time to accomplished their dream. I feel that some just don't think they can do it because they have waited to late. I just believe in all my classmate and I wish they would bleive in theirself as I do.

A College Campus
On the first day class of fall 2009 at Macon State stood tall and long red brick buildings stretching over the campus. In the huge parking lot where I seen a lot of college students parking. The long sidewalk where people were socializing about what classes they were taking this fall. When I enter the building I saw more people standing around. Some people had on bright colors, while other looks like they still had on pajamas. When I enter my first class there was a lot of empty desks. The class begins to fill as the time got closer to begin the class. I saw many people looking around class to see if they knew anybody from previous classes. The college campus was fill with happy people.

TAKING TO MUCH ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TODAY I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD FAIL MY A&P CLASS!! ONE thing I really do hate is when a person try to down size people because they have not exceed in a class. Many people in this world think everybody should fail if they didn't succeed in whatever they was doing. I have my own mind which is something a lot of people don't have. They listen to people with negative energy I'm a very positive person when it come to doing anything. For example if I had failed a class I would have said that i didn't exceed in the class like I wanted to, but I'm taking it over because I know that I know the material but not that well to leave out of the class, I would gave a person encourage words for the class, but i have to realize we are not all the same

Goals I would like to achieve!!!1

I will exceed in English 1101. My goals are to get a better understanding of the work that we will cover in English 1101. If I put everything that I have into English 1101 I feel that I will grasps the concepts of different kinds of writing material. I would really like to know how to use MLA format would out having to look at a manual telling me how to use it. I hope this class will prepared me for English 1102 so when I take it next semester i won't have to depend to much on the professor to take me take by take.
